Outside my window

Spring has sprung here. Outside the window of the room I sit in to design and update this blog the plum tree is in full bloom. It’s mesmerizing watching the bees and birds. Both of the cats have spent hours watching them. I try not to daydream too much with them but………

Sigh….

Today though, everyone is hunkered down. It’s raining. I’m so glad! We’re only at 30% rainfall this season. That’s cause for concern. We had a very wet winter last year, so folks aren’t thinking drought, but without rain, the countryside is at risk for fires. That’s a concern. For all those who survive because of defensible space and those who risk their lives to keep them safe, I pray for more rain.
