TIAS 2013 Day 7 and bookmark


I finished another bookmark. I can’t show the whole picture as the designer is quite certain they do NOT want anything posted on the web. But, I had to show the end of the bookmark.

Working the chains was a bit of a challenge. I have one error, but overall, the challenge was accepted; and completed!!

And now here’s Day 7 of TIAS 2013:

    It's like looking through the keyhole, but I like your bookmark! How many shuttle did you need?

    The basic premise of the pattern uses two shuttles per ring. This pattern wanted 3 colors. The trial run you see the end of was worked in some "waste" thread using 6 shuttles. I've worked a similar pattern using 4 shuttles in 2 colors, but I don't remember where I found the pattern.
