This is intriguing. It’s the center and round 2 of thisdoily that I found in Carmel. I used TDS (treble tatting stitch) rather than crochet chain. With the TDS in the outside chains of Round 2, it has a bit of a hexagon shape. Intriguing.
I am a musician (organ) and a tatter (shuttle mostly) living in California. I have dreamed of combining both of these passions.

ReplyDeleteIs it because you did a 3 motif repeat in the center instead of 4 in the original doily? And this 3rd round is also different. Are you doing a design change deliberately? It is very interesting and can't wait to see what you do next.
