Anyone who creates makes mistakes. Anyone who learns makes mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes turn out to be happy brilliance. Sometimes starting over is the best option. My latest project using TDS is at that stage: Do I keep the mistake, correct the mistake, or start over?
I’m not surprised I find myself making that choice. I knew
the possibility of error(s) was high when I started tatting during the
Masterclass. The round I’m on uses plain DS though. I thought I understood the
diagram well enough and had a cheat sheet written out in my favorite pattern
parlance. Sigh. The mistake is on the order of missed picot. I decided to cut out what I had done and start the round again.
I can tat correctly!
Once I return to where I was sitting and find the shuttles I
left……..
Oh dear. We do make mistakes and sometimes starting over is the best remedy.
